Connecting people to Christ -Jesus (John 14:6)

The Bible

We believe that the Scripture, Both Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God. In them we discover God’s plan for humanity, culminating in the wonders of the cross, resurrection and the birth of the Church. The Bible serves as an owner’s manual – it is the authority for Christian faith and lifestyle. 2 Timothy 3:15-17; I Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21

Jesus Christ

We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of men, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, very God and very man. Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:31,35; Philippians 2:9-11; Hebrews 1:3.

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit

We believe that followers of Christ Jesus are entitled to and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian Church. With it comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry. Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is a gift from God to humanity. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good work. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can we be saved from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith. (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6; Titus 3:5, Galatians 3:26, Romans 5:1)

Divine healing

We believe that divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; James 5:14-16).
